Production Supervisor 2nd shift

Founded in 1989, we design and manufacture metal stamped and assembled parts, tubes, and engineered assemblies for the light vehicle and commercial vehicle markets. We are very good at what we do; we count many of the world’s largest corporations among our customers.  We keep them supplied from two locations in central Indiana, Edinburgh and Columbus. Sacoma is a design and engineering-driven company, working with customers to optimize performance and manufacturing efficiency from the initial design stage through mature products.




  1. Responsible for safe, timely, and quality production of products on all shifts
  2. Knowledgeable of equipment and willingness to work in all areas of responsibility
  3. Coordinate schedule to ensure each shift is fully staffed
  4. Review and approve production workforce time-cards
  5. Prepare appropriate production records
  6. Prepare production floor for start and end of day, depending on shift
  7. Assist in the planning and implementing of continuous improvement initiatives


  1. High School diploma or GED required; Advanced Degree (Bachelor’s, or Associate’s) preferred
  2. 3+ years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  3. Required Knowledge of TPS
  4. Must be willing to work shift, overtime, and weekends
  5. Strong attention to detail
  6. Ability to read and understand engineering prints
  7. Proficient in MS Office
  8. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  9. Ability to safely operate forklift & electric pallet jack
